Basahin sa Filipino

Obra Health writes its health guides only from facts recorded in fact files and data files. Each claim in the compound fact files carries a source URL. AI tools draft each guide, then check it sentence by sentence against those facts, and against a written content ruleset. A guide is published only if both checks pass.

What these guides are

Our guides explain GLP-1 medicines, peptides, weight management and related topics for readers in the Philippines.

They are educational content. They are not medical advice, and they do not replace a consultation with a licensed doctor.

How health guides are written

Our health guides cover medicines and compounds, comparisons, clinical topics and legal status. Each one is written only from facts recorded in our fact files and data files. Each claim in our compound fact files carries a source URL, and the files say openly when something could not be confirmed.

Sources include:

  • FDA Philippines pages, which we prefer, including searches of the FDA Philippines Verification Portal for product registration records. Our tools could not open some FDA Philippines pages.
  • Other regulators, such as the US FDA and the European Medicines Agency
  • Official prescribing information
  • Peer-reviewed research
  • Philippine laws
  • International bodies, such as the World Anti-Doping Agency
  • Philippine news reports, where official FDA Philippines pages could not be opened. When a page's registration details rest on news reports, the page says so.

Each health guide lists its sources at the end, so you can check them yourself.

How health guides are checked

Drafting and checking are done with AI tools.

  1. Each claim in a fact file is checked on its own against the source it cites. Claims the source does not support are corrected or removed.
  2. Each finished guide is checked sentence by sentence against the fact files and data files.
  3. Each finished guide is checked against our written content ruleset, which sets out what we will and will not say.

A guide is published only if checks 2 and 3 both pass.

Medical review

Physician review is being added page by page. Labels at the top of each page show where it stands:

  • Pages a physician has reviewed: the label shows the reviewer's name, credentials, PRC license number and the date of the review.
  • Pages about a medicine or compound, comparison pages and clinical articles not yet reviewed: the label says the page is not yet medically reviewed, and gives the date it was last fact-checked against its sources.
  • Other pages, such as data pages on prices and legal status, topic hubs and pages about this site: the label says the page was written by the Obra editorial team.

What we do not publish in these guides

  • Dosing instructions or protocols for compounds that are not registered
  • Reconstitution or injection steps
  • Vendor recommendations
  • Testimonials
  • Before and after photos

Our commercial interest

Obra Health is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy. We connect patients with licensed doctors, and with a pharmacy that offers compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. If a doctor prescribes one of these after a free assessment, a licensed pharmacist prepares it. Obra itself does not prescribe or dispense medicines. If you qualify, a doctor may instead issue an e-prescription for a branded medicine such as Ozempic or Mounjaro. Obra does not supply branded medicines: you fill the prescription at the pharmacy of your choice and pay the pharmacy for the medicine. The assessment and doctor consultation are free. We do not connect patients with the other peptides covered in these guides.

Our educational pages do not recommend one medicine over another.
