Zamboanga City has some of the regional offices a patient might look for, and not others. A large city, and two sets of survey numbers

Zamboanga City had 1,018,849 people in the 2024 Census, up from 977,234 in 2020, and 89.2% of them lived in urban barangays.

The 2019 Expanded National Nutrition Survey, run by DOST-FNRI for Zamboanga City, reports overweight among adults aged 20 to 59 at 27.7%. It also states that the prevalence of high fasting blood sugar was 7.5%.

The 2023 National Nutrition Survey describes the wider Zamboanga Peninsula. There, 48.4% of adults aged 20 to 59 had overweight or obesity (Philippines: 57.1%), and 5.4% had high fasting blood glucose (Philippines: 7.5%).

Zamboanga's heat beside the label limits

PAGASA's 1991 to 2020 climate normals for its Zamboanga station show an average daily maximum of 32.6 °C across the year, and 33.2 °C in April, the highest month. The annual mean is 28.4 °C.

The Philippine package inserts state:

• Ozempic (BR-1326) and Wegovy FlexTouch (BR-1468): after first use, up to 6 weeks, "Store below 30°C or in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C)."
• Mounjaro KwikPen (DR-XY49504): "After first use 30 days. Store unrefrigerated at room temperature below 30 ºC."
• All three: unused pens go in a refrigerator at 2 to 8 °C and must not be frozen.

The legal route to a prescription

RA 10918, the Philippine Pharmacy Act, Sec. 33: "Prescription medicines may be dispensed only by a duly registered and licensed pharmacist and only with a valid prescription of a physician, dentist, or veterinarian."

For branded medicines such as Mounjaro or Ozempic, a doctor may issue an e-prescription if you qualify. Obra does not procure or supply them. You fill the prescription at the pharmacy of your choice and pay the pharmacy.
