For doctors and clinic operators.
Common questions from doctors looking at Obra. If yours isn't here, email us and we'll answer directly.
Written by the Obra editorial team. Sources listed below.
Does Obra take over the patient relationship?
No. Your patients stay your patients. You evaluate them, prescribe, and decide on follow-up. Obra handles intake, records and pharmacy coordination around your decisions.
How do doctors prescribe?
You review the patient's intake and records, then write a patient-specific prescription for the medicine and dose you choose. Only licensed doctors prescribe through Obra.
Who can partner with Obra?
Physicians who hold an active Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, and the clinics they practice in.
Which medicines can I prescribe through Obra?
Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, each prepared for one named patient.
See the medication pages for what each one is, the evidence behind it, and its risks.
Who prepares the medicine?
A licensed pharmacist at our verified partner pharmacy, which holds a License to Operate from FDA Philippines. We don't name the pharmacy on this site yet.
Can patients use another pharmacy?
Yes. Patients may fill your prescription at any pharmacy they choose.
What does Obra handle?
Patient intake, records, and coordination with the partner pharmacy. Our care team helps patients with delivery questions and refills; medical questions go to a doctor.
How is patient data handled?
Obra Health Inc. is registered with the National Privacy Commission. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, health information is sensitive personal information. See the Compliance page for details.
How do I start?
